School of Islamic Studies
This school consists of 60-80 students. There is no age limit. Girls of different ages are grouped into 5 sections. They are taught the Quran by teachers trained from an institution called Al-Huda in Islamabad. The syllabus is based on the belief that women need to be aware of their rights and correct concepts as they are subjugated to a large extent in rural areas. We carry out a curriculum that invokes active debate and process of thought. Our syllabus is based on a non aggressive and enlightened approach towards life.
These students are given computer lessons and have access to the audio visual room that contains a large selection of videos and cassettes of poems, stories and lectures from all over the World.

The Need for Expansion
Every year there are about 60-80 children who have to be sent away because of lack of space in the school. Apart from this there are many villages in D.G.Khan which do not have functional schools. Therefore it is imperative that a network of schools is set up, keeping the New Vision School as a model. The proposal for expansion consists of the setting up of ten schools within D.G.Khan that can start with a few classes and go higher up till metric level. These schools could have a hall for vocational activities also. The feasibility of this venture is being made.
